Clinical AI company Aidoc is working with NVIDIA on a new guide to accelerate the adoption and integration of artificial intelligence (AI) in healthcare. The guide, titled “BRIDGE” (Blueprint for Resilient Integration and Deployment of Guided Excellence), is scheduled for release in January 2025. The goal is to provide a vendor-neutral and evidence-based roadmap to make the implementation of AI in clinical workflows more efficient.
Although the number of FDA-approved AI tools is increasing, many healthcare systems are still struggling with implementation challenges. Fragmented processes, low operational efficiency, and difficulties in scaling new technologies are slowing down the use of AI in practice. The BRIDGE guide aims to address these issues by providing specific recommendations for scaling and interoperability of AI solutions.

The guideline will draw on proven approaches from existing AI projects in the healthcare sector.
The BRIDGE guideline will be aligned with established industry frameworks such as MONAI. MONAI is a platform created in collaboration with scientists and leading companies, including NVIDIA, to provide essential tools for the development, validation and implementation of medical AI.
In addition, the BRIDGE guide will be aligned with the Coalition for Health AI (CHAI) initiatives, which focus on establishing a nationwide network of secure AI model laboratories.
Aidoc and NVIDIA believe that the BRIDGE guide can make a significant contribution to accelerating the integration of AI in healthcare. Tackling issues such as fragmentation and a lack of scalability could enable healthcare institutions to use AI efficiently, leading to a profound improvement in patient care.
